I'm getting an slr camera for christmas!!!!
its a nikon d3000 and a lens, for only $500 total!!!!

My name is Kara and I am an ameture photographer, model, and painter, (and singer, but that is sort of irrelivant here.) I love people.

I paint with:
mostly acrylics, but I also use watercolor occaisionally.

my camera is:
a Z1015 Kodak Easyshare (I wish I knew how to use it a little better)

I Like to take Pictures of:
mostly people, but the occaisional interesting object is nice too.

I Model:
not very well, trying to get better. kind of want to get pictures taken of me at some point to start a portfolio. The problem is, usually I am the one taking the pictures.

I am working on:
right now i'm trying to do a photo shoot with my friends every other week or so, because I want to continue to post new deviations and have something to do because i absolutely adore taking and editing photos. the models you see are among my dearest freinds, and they are (from oldest pictures to newest)
zachary, gavin maxwell, roxane, jerry, andrea, patrick, kelsey, gabrielle and jade. they are amazing.

I wish:
I had more models, a camera I understood better and that worked better, and a 600$ gift certificate to arizona art supplies for paints and canvasses.

The people I love the most are:
Mom, Dad, Michelle, Jerry, Maxxwell, Gavin, Roxanne, Jade, Kelsey, Gabrielle, Patrick, Andrea and my extended family.

don't make me blush :) that would be an absolutely honor to me! It's a pity that the distance between the states and europe is that big...

So, you are a photographer and a model... thats interesting :) Did you shoot a lot so far?

I made also a shooting for my series "wild/model" (got some paintings on here)... that was pretty cool. :)
